Sept. has been a pretty busy month. Jenna has started dance, Travis has started school and Karate, and Mommy is registering for school and dance herself...
We celebrated daddys bday in heaven on the 14th and now were making costumes for Rez's fall festival late october...whew
Travis is really loving school,learning to recognize words by sounding them out and loves books....He gets excited when he gets to check new ones out from his library at school. he brought 2 different scooby doo books home today with chapters and one small pic a page, i was all teary eyed as he was listening to the stories...my baby doesnt need pictures anymore...and i still do! LOL
There growing up so fast right before my eyes....Kinda frightening...I feel like i have so much responsibility on my hands with raising them, hoping im doing it right, and giving them a good foundation...
We love our church and are getting involved there and creating solid friendships and support there as well...
Im taking a season and studying the Fatherheart Of God....and its been really good helping me understand how he loves not only me but my children and though they may not have an earthly Father...that God provides, protects and delights in them....
Im sure ill write more as the study goes on...
Ive enjoyed making a FB page for Andy...uploading pictures,letters,memories.....the kids and I will just sit, look at pictures and talk about the memories we had.....they love it as much as i do....
theres over 200 ppl who like the page who have been influenced by Andy and his story in some way, and thats been outstanding! I love listening to the stories people write and i cant wait to start a scrapbook for my kids of how thier daddy impacted this world for Jesus!
I wish Andy could of known what a legacy he left and how many ppls lives he touched whether in relationship or just in passing...
I need to gather his writings and share them on there as well....
Romans 8:37-39 (Gods Everlasting Love)
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
When your in a rough patch remember God calls you a conqueror...an overcomer....to press in and persevere . although people will rise up against us and accuse us , it is God who justifies and who loves us, and that no one can seperate us from that love...no one can take that away from us....
Words spoken against us hurt, thier painful....But God renews your mind and your spirit if you will surrender to him and let him bear your load...His yoke is easy and burden is light.....He can heal and renew your mind if we set it on things above and not things below.....
God is so good to give us exactly what we need, when we need it...
